In Cheeky Monkeys the Monkeys are unpredictable, the ability to avoid trouble making the right choice depends on your trainer skills. Rules
After shuffling the two decks of cards (Actions and Monkeys), distribute three "Action Cards" to each player and place the decks in the middle of the table.
Start who looks more like one of the little monkeys!
Each turn is divided into four phases:
1- Preparation: the player on duty can play one or more action cards from his hand.
2- Arrival of the monkey: the player on duty puts a monkey in front of him from the top of the Cheeky Monkeys deck
3- Draft: the current player draws a card from the Action Cards deck
4- Training: the player on duty can play one or more action cards from his hand.
The turn of the next player begins when the previous training phase ends.
There are two types of action cards: Quick Action and Blunt Action.
The former can be used at any time, even during the turns of the other players, while the latter can only be used on their turn. The monkeys will immediately be very dangerous, and the trainer who can not handle them will risk losing the game ... you are wondering how? There are two ways to explode:
1- When you have the Piromane Enthusiast and Giocoliere Bombarolo monkeys at the same time, the fuses are triggered and if you can not turn them off or defuse them, the player will explode at the end of their turn. To avoid the disaster, you can use the appropriate Action Cards, or put in the field the spitting Liquid Monkey.
2- When you simultaneously have the Spectating Liquidator monkeys and Lethal scratches, the player immediately explodes due to the shock, unless you play the Ground card.
The exploding trainer must leave the game and put their cards in the discard pile. The last trainer who remains in the game wins!
Conclusions:
Fun game, "easy to learn", fast: ideal for those who do not have the time to face a challenging game, but who still want to spend minutes of carefree and healthy laughter.
The box, with classic dimensions for two decks of cards, is equipped with an internal plastic divider.
The game manual is nothing more than a small folded sheet, on whose faces there is the regulation (the writing character is a bit small, but legible) enriched with images.
The graphics go well with the playful tone of the game, the colors are very bright, the name and description of each card are clear, simple and perfectly legible. Cheeky Monkeys adapts well to any age group for its simplicity, immediacy and liveliness.
